SLM centrifugal fans are medium pressure, direct-coupled units with single impeller and single suction, designed and manufactured by SAVIO in Italy since 1945. They feature a very flat absorbed-power curve that prevents motor overload even when running with open inlets. Available in ATEX version up to zone 1/21.
FLUID:
Suitable for conveying fumes and dust mixed with air, including very dusty air or air carrying airborne materials, up to +80 °C (up to +150 °C in special execution with welded casing and cooling fan). Filamentous materials excluded.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
Extraction of sawdust and wood shavings in joineries, extraction of metal chips and grinding dust in mechanical industries, pneumatic conveying in cement and ceramic factories, mills, feed mills, tanneries and foundries, as well as textile and chemical industry applications. Ideal for conveying harmful air at low and medium pressure.
